We are getting more and more excited about what this coming camping season holds for us. We have plans to visit one of our favorite places- Moab- in April, and of course we have plenty of Colorado camping and four wheeling trips planned. This year our bucket list includes Black Bear Pass and Hell’s Revenge.
The supply chain issues that everyone is experiencing due to the Pandemic has delayed the build on Sarge the Jeep, but we believe it will be up and ready to go for this season. The plan as of right now for Sarge, who is a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon (if you didn’t know already), is to put an RLD bed canopy system in place along with the iKamper Skycamp 2.0. We are also looking into slide out systems for the bed to manage the cooler and stove that the Jeep will rental will include.
On a personal note, we are also building our 2006 4Runner (named Yellow!) to serve as our personal adventure vehicle while the Jeep is out providing fun to our customers. We have ordered a Tuff Stuff Overland Alpha rooftop tent (which, of course, is on backorder). We plan on addressing body armor (skid plates) and a bumper for the 4Runner this year as well. We are planning on sharing and documenting all of our adventures via Instagram and YouTube.
Our camper, Cruz, which is a 2021 Forest River E-Pro E19BH, is still living in Texas and being used by customers in the South! We are in the planning process of getting Cruz back to Colorado, and will be equipping her with some new tires for this year. We have a July trip planned for Cruz with our family in the Horsetooth Reservoir area.
It’s heartwarming to see the sun and the temperatures starting to creep up to spring-like levels. Once ski season ends, we will be taking our various adventure mobiles to different places for short and sweet camping trips- Arizona and New Mexico- that are a little more early-spring friendly.
Thanks for reading, and as always- let us know if you have any questions or comments!
